This Privacy Policy explains how PrimeTunnel VPN collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the PrimeTunnel VPN mobile application and its VPN connectivity features.
The app processes limited information required to provide the VPN service and support core app functions, including:
The app does not currently provide user-created account registration. To support access control, node delivery, diagnostics, and service continuity, the app may generate and store a stable app-specific device identifier derived from Android system information such as Android ID, or from a local fallback value if needed. The current release also integrates advertising, analytics, remote configuration, and crash reporting services including AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Crashlytics, and Facebook App Events. These services may process device, app, installation identifier, event, crash, performance, advertising-related, attribution-related, or configuration-related information in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.
PrimeTunnel VPN routes network traffic through a VPN tunnel in order to provide the core service.
The app itself is not designed to read or store the content of websites, messages, or files that pass through the tunnel. However, network traffic must pass through the VPN or proxy infrastructure used to provide the service, and the relevant infrastructure provider may process network requests and connection metadata as necessary to transmit traffic, authenticate access, operate the network, detect abuse, or comply with law.
To verify that the tunnel is usable, to collect approximate local network information, and to display the exit IP address, the app may contact third-party network endpoints and IP check services, such as public IP lookup services. Those services may receive your local network IP address or VPN egress IP address and standard technical request metadata.
We use information for the following purposes:
The app requests system permissions that are necessary for its core functions, such as:
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose or make limited information available only when reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, protect the service, or respond to valid requests from authorities.
The current release integrates third-party services and SDKs needed for app distribution, analytics, remote configuration, advertising, ad measurement, attribution-related event measurement, crash reporting, VPN or proxy infrastructure, and public IP lookup or connectivity verification. These services may receive device, app, event, crash, performance, installation identifier, advertising identifier, advertising, attribution, or configuration-related information as part of their operation. Relevant third-party policy references may include:
Region selection, app-specific device identifiers, backend session values, device-local session code, reminder scheduling state, event queue data, and encrypted connection provisioning values are stored on the device until you clear app data or uninstall the app, unless replaced by a newer value. Temporary in-memory connection state exists only while the service is active. Backend event or diagnostic records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, unless deletion is required by applicable law. Support emails or other communications you send may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Information handled by third-party analytics, advertising, remote configuration, attribution-related, or crash reporting providers may also be retained according to their own retention practices and documentation.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. For example, sensitive connection provisioning values stored by the app are encrypted before being written to local storage. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can stop using the VPN service at any time, disconnect the tunnel in the app, disable notifications through system settings, or remove locally stored app data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app. You may also reset or limit advertising identifiers through your device settings where supported by the operating system. You may contact us to ask questions about your information handling or to request review or deletion of information associated with the app-specific identifier used by our backend, subject to legal, security, fraud prevention, and operational retention requirements.
The service is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so that we can review and remove it where appropriate.
Because the VPN service may involve servers, proxy gateways, or technical providers in different jurisdictions, information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the app or on the relevant page, and the new effective date will be shown above.
